April Week 2, Year 3

WCW Nitro
Match 1. DDP vs. Rick Rude

Match 2. Truth and Consequences vs. nWo

Match 3. 4-Way - Ultimo vs. Kidman vs. Psychosis vs. Syxx
Kidman caught Dragon with a jumping DTT. Syxx hit Psychosis with a super kick. Dragon countered Kidman's finisher as Psychosis and Syxx traded kicks and reversals. Kidman landed a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Psychosis tossed Syxx up in the air and he crashed on the mat and Psychosis got the win.

Match 4. Alberto Del Rio vs. The Rock
The Rock makes his WCW debut. Del Rio quickly went on the attack with a German suplex and kick to the head. Rock caught Del Rio with a Samoan drop and spine buster. He went for the Rock Bottom, but Del Rio countered it. Del Rio busted Rock open with a piledriver. After some near falls, Rock won with a spine buster.

Match 5. Hollywood Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior

Main Event. United Kingdom vs. nWo   #1 Contender's Match
It looks like the UK is moving on without Cesaro. Drew slammed Hennig's head into Barrett's boot. Barrett had Steiner between the ropes and drove some knees. He then hit a knee to the face. Steiner landed the Steiner Screwdriver. Hennig then hit the Perfect-plex, but got a near fall. Barrett hit Hennig with the Bull Hammer and won.

While Barrett was celebrating, Bret's music hit. Barrett was waiting, but Bret attacked him from behind.

ECW
Match 1. The Sandman vs. Tajiri vs. Spike Dudley

Match 2. Impact Players vs. London and Kendrick

Match 3. Rob Van Dam vs. Rey Mysterio

Match 4. Austin Aries vs. Sabu
I think Sabu will feel at home. Sheamus walked down with a chair and attacked Aries. Sabu and Sheamus landed a double gut buster. Aries fought back with a brain buster and near fall. Sabu connected with a springboard heel kick and got a two count. Aries hit a second brain buster and won.

Match 5. Brodus Clay vs. Abyss
Brodus hit Abyss below the belt, but Abyss came back with the Black Hole Slam. Brodus took Abyss down with a drop toe hold and hit a running cross body to win.

Main Event. Stone Cold vs. Ric Flair vs. Sheamus
E-C-Wooooo! Sabu attacked Austin from behind. This match took forever; 42:39 to be exact. Sheamus busted Flair open early with multiple punches. Sheamus busted Austin open with a DDT. Flair hit Sheamus with a piledriver, but couldn't get the pin. Austin hit Sheamus with the Stunner, but Flair cut him off. Sheamus and Austin hit Flair with a double suplex and Austin won.

TNA Impact
Match 1. Tomko and Gunner vs. The American Wolves

Match 2. Eric Young vs. Fandango

Match 3. Sami Zayn vs. Petey Williams

Match 4. Samoa Joe vs. Chris Sabin
Sabin took Joe down with a shoulder tackle. Joe caught Sabin with a nice package suplex. Sabin came back with a DDT on the apron. Joe landed a corner splash and got a near fall. He then locked in the Coquina Clutch and won.

Match 5. Kassius Ohno vs. Eddie Guerrero
Eddie and Ohno were fighting on the outside. Eddie landed a flying head scissors and a back breaker. Back in the ring, Eddie hit another head scissors and back breaker. He later connected with the Three Amigos. Ohno kicked out and connected with the Death Blow to win.

After the match, Ryback walked down and attacked Eddie. Ohno turned around and made the save.

Main Event. Sting vs. Ryback   #1 Contender's Match
Bobby Roode walked out and sat at ringside. Roode got involved in the match and attacked Sting. Sting made a comeback and took Ryback down for a near fall. Ryback hit a Lou Thesz Press and slammed Sting's head against the mat. He did it again mere seconds later. Sting landed a hanging suplex and won.

WWE SmackDown
Match 1. Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow

Match 2. The Usos vs. Batista and Randy Orton
Jimmy blocked an RKO and hit a sit-out full nelson bomb. Batista and Orton kept Jey in their corner. Jimmy came back in and hit Orton with another full nelson bomb. Orton and Batista hit Jey with a double gut buster. Orton took Jey down with a European uppercut and stomped all over his body before winning.

Match 3. Tazz vs. Curtis Axel

Match 4. Jeff Hardy vs. Kane
Not the easiest opponent for Jeff's debut. Kane landed a sidewalk slam. Jeff caught him in a school boy and almost won. Jeff later hit a springboard crossbody and got a near fall. Jeff went for the Twist of Fate, but Kane countered and hit a Tombstone to win.

Match 5. Jake Roberts vs. Edge

Main Event. Undertaker vs. John Cena
Cena took Taker down with a shoulder tackle. He then hit the Attitude Adjustment, but Taker kicked out. Taker caught Cena with a flapjack and then drove his knee across Cena's face. Jeff Hardy ran down and stood at ringside. Cena and Taker traded counters. Cena hit a second AA and won.

After the match, Batista ran down and attacked Cena with a lead pipe.

Recap: That was the first week with the new rosters. I like TNA's roster the best. WWE has some interesting matchups, but the veterans are too boring.
