September Week 1, Year 3

WCW Nitro
Match 1. Diamond Dallas Page vs. Wade Barrett w/ Big Show
Interesting to have Big Show out here supporting the UK leader. DDP busted Wade open with a flurry of punches. Page later hit a sidewalk slam and tilt-a-whirl slam and got a near fall. He then speared Barrett through the barricade. Wade made it back in and hit the Winds of Change. Page kicked out and hit the Diamond Cutter to win.

Match 2. Ultimo Dragon vs. Billy Kidman

Match 3. Drew McIntyre vs. Scott Steiner

Match 4. Curt Hennig vs. Randy Savage
Savage went around Hennig and clotheslined him from behind. Savage countered the Perfect-plex and slammed Hennig down. He then went to the top and connected with the diving elbow to win.

Match 5. Bret Hart vs. The Rock
Rock was walking to the ring when Nash attacked him from behind. A little later, Scott Hall ran down. Del Rio evened (I think...) the odds. Rock hit Bret with a Rock Bottom. Bret tried making a comeback, but Rock hit a Samoan drop and spine buster to win.

After the match, Rock went for a handshake, but Bret slapped it away and left.

Main Event. Goldberg vs. Kevin Nash

ECW
Match 1. Spike Dudley vs. Stevie Richards

Match 2. London and Kendrick vs. The Wyatt Family

Match 3. Rob Van Dam vs. Tommy Dreamer

Match 4. Submission - Mark Henry vs. Rey Mysterio
Henry went for a powerbomb, but Rey rolled out and hit a flying head scissors. Rey tossed Henry acorss with a hurricanrana and hit the 619. Henry lifted Rey up for a huge military press slam. He continued with the World's Strongest Slam and running body splash. Henry then ended it with a bear hug.

Match 5. Extreme Rules - Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy
Matt was pulling out a weapon when Swagger grabbed him and slammed him through the announce table with a German suplex. Matt came back with a sunset flip and the two were in a pin battle. Swagger hit the gutwrench, but Matt kicked out. Matt came back with a superplex, but Swagger was able to hit a second finisher to win.

Main Event. Elimination - Dudley Boyz vs. Impact Players
Bubba whipped Storm into the corner and tagged in D-Von. The two connected with the 3D, but Storm kicked out. Justin came in and lifted Bubba up for the piledriver. Bubba hit the Bubba Cutter and eliminated Justin. Storm did his best to fight off the Dudleyz, but it was not enough. Bubba locked in a full nelson hold and won.

TNA Impact
Match 1. MVP vs. Kenny King

Match 2. American Wolves vs. Mr. Anderson and Chris Sabin

Match 3. Samoa Joe vs. Petey Williams
Finally! No more Williams and Zayn matches. Joe caught Sabin with three consecutive back suplexes. Williams placed Joe on the top rope and landed a huge hurricanrana. Joe came back with another back suplex and a DDT. Petey hit a second supercanrana and won.

Match 4. Christopher Daniels vs. CM Punk
Daniels broke free of a couple of holds, but Punk took him back down with some arm drags. Cesaro walked down with a chair and took out Punk with a huge European uppercut. Daniels then hit Last Rites to win.

Match 5. Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho vs. Bobby Roode and Magnus
At the opening bell, Magnus caught Jericho with a sit-out spine buster. A little later, Magnus hit a second spine buster and a huge toss. Jericho made the hot tag to Angle, who took it to Magnus. Roode came in with the Pay Off suplex and won.

Main Event. Sting vs. Christian

WWE SmackDown
Match 1. Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler

Match 2. Goldust vs. Tazz

Match 3. Big E Langston vs. Jeff Hardy

Match 4. Extreme Rules - The Usos vs. Evolution
Batista and Orton quickly left the ring and the Usos followed. Evolution was in control, but the Usos were back on offense. Jimmy suplexed Orton and Jey countered Batista's spine buster. Batista then locked in a modified cross face and made Jey tap out.

Match 5. Daniel Bryan vs. Edge
Edge took Bryan down with a dragon screw and them slammed his head against the mat. Edge hit a neck breaker and the spear, but Bryan kicked out. He hit a tornado DDT, but Bryan got up again. Edge tossed Bryan into the ropes, lifted him up and speared him to win.

Main Event. John Cena vs. Roman Reigns
Can Reigns show he can break on his own? Reigns tossed Cena to the outside. Cena hit a bulldog, but Reigns came right back with a Samoan drop. Back in the ring, he connected with the Superman punch and spear. Cena was not phased as he hit the AA onto a baseball bat. After some back-and-forth near falls, Cena hit the 5 Knuckle Shuffle and a second AA to win.

Recap: With Hogan out, Nash is the de-facto leader and the nWo is getting their revenge on Rock. Reigns should use this as a learning process.
