September Week 3, Year 3

WCW Nitro
Match 1. Wade Barrett vs. Diamond Dallas Page

Match 2. Ultimo Dragon vs. Billy Kidman

Match 3. Alberto Del Rio vs. Scott Steiner
Steiner hit Del Rio with a back suplex and clothesline to the back of the neck. He later hit a northern lights suplex. Del Rio worked over the left arm of Steiner. Del Rio connected with a heel kick. Steiner landed a tilt-a-whirl slam and elbow drop to the back and won.

Match 4. Curt Hennig vs. Drew McIntyre

Match 5. The Rock vs. Kevin Nash
Here we go! Rock was in the ring when Nash attacked him from behind. Nash then hit the Jackknife, but Rock kicked out. He then brought in the steel steps. Rock ducked a punch and landed a Samoan drop. Nash hit a second Jackknife and a face buster and got two near falls. Rock landed the spine buster and got the three count.

Main Event. Goldberg vs. Bret Hart
Del Rio walked down with a chair and attacked Bret. Warrior ran out from the crowd to save Bret. Goldberg landed a huge spine buster onto a chair. Goldberg missed his spear, but recovered quickly. Goldberg got a near fall with a double underhook slam and won with the Jackhammer.

ECW
Match 1. The Sandman and Tajiri vs. The Wyatt Family

Match 2. Stone Cold vs. Mick Foley vs. Sheamus
Austin and Foley hit Sheamus with a double DDT. After a back suplex, Austin busted Sheamus open with mounted punches. Sheamus caught Austin with White Noise. Austin caught Foley with the Stunner, but Sheamus broke up the pin. Austin and Foley worked over Sheamus. Foley landed a double-arm DDT and Austin pinned Foley after a Lou Thesz Press.

Match 3. Rob Van Dam vs. Tommy Dreamer
Dreamer suplexed RVD from the ring down to the outside mat. A little later, he hit the second-rope DDT. Van Dam came back with a monkey flip and the Rolling Thunder. Dreamer blocked the heel kick and won with the DDT.

Match 4. Rey Mysterio vs. Mark Henry

Match 5. Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy
Rob Van Dam ran down and attacked both Superstars, making this match a draw.

Main Event. Extreme Rules - Bubba Ray vs. Lance Storm
Bubba grabbed a kendo stick. Storm dropkicked the right knee of Bubba. On the outside, Storm landed a back suplex and the superkick. He continued with a back breaker and a northern lights suplex. Back in the ring, Storm connected with another superkick to win.

After the match, Storm continued stomping on Bubba.

TNA Impact
Match 1. Chris Jericho vs. Davey Richards

Match 2. Eric Young vs. Fandango

Match 3. CM Punk vs. Petey Williams
Williams countered a suplex into a falling neck breaker. Magnus and Chris Sabin interfered. Williams DDT'd Punk through the announce table. Williams landed a spine buster, but Sabin broke up the pin. Punk hit his running knee and bulldog from the corner and won.

Match 4. Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe

Match 5. Kazarian vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. AJ Styles   #1 Contender's Match
Eddie hit Kaz with a huge brain buster. Kaz busted AJ open with a spike DDT. AJ and Eddie hit Kaz with a double gut buster. Eddie then hit a powerbomb with a pin, but AJ broke it up. Eddie planted AJ with a DDT. Kaz picked him up and hit superkick before landing Fade To Black and the win.

Main Event. Last Man Standing - Sting vs. Christian   TNA Championship
Just days before the PPV, Sting defends his title. Christian was in control early with a suplex and heel kick. He left the ring and grabbed a table. Sting dodged the table and landed a delayed suplex. He then hit the Scorpion Death Drop, but Christian got up at the count of seven. He then connected with the Stinger Splash and won.

WWE SmackDown
Match 1. Big E Langston vs. Curtis Axel

Match 2. Goldust vs. Tazz

Match 3. Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H
This is a non-title rematch. Taker's music hit and out he came. Triple H went for a spine buster, but Jeff countered it. Taker hit The Game with a Last Ride. Triple H came back with the Pedigree on Jeff. Triple H strung together a knee smash, spine buster and a second Pedigree, but Jeff still kicked out. Jeff landed the Whisper in the Wind and the flipping face buster to win.

Match 4. Jey Uso vs. Randy Orton

Match 5. Extreme Rules - Daniel Bryan vs. Edge
Edge attacked Bryan from behind in the ring. Edge then connected with the spear, but Bryan kicked out. Much later, Bryan hit Edge with a ladder and multiple kicks to the chest. He then DDT'd Edge onto the steel steps. Back in the ring, he hit some more kicks and won.

Main Event. Submission - John Cena vs. Roman Reigns
Reigns hit some rights and lefts before Cena took him down with a fireman's carry and arm drag. Reigns punched the side of Cena's head and then slammed it against the ground. He hit the Superman punch and spear. Cena landed the AA and won with a modified cross face.

Recap: Will Sting be ready for the PPV? Jeff Hardy deserves another title shot. Kaz vs. Ohno for the title?
