ECW/TNA SLAMMIVERSARY, Year 3

Match 1. Chris Sabin vs. Adrian Neville   TNA X-Division Championship
Neville missed a dropkick, but came right back with kicks to both of Sabin's calves. The two were caught in a pin battle with both men getting near falls. After a hip toss, Sabin landed a jumping spike DDT to retain the title.

Match 2. Sami Zayn vs. Bray Wyatt   ECW Television Championship
Bray landed a body splash in the corner and then threw Zayn into the ropes and hit a cross body. He then hit Sister Abigail, but Zayn kicked out. Sami landed a springboard splash. He went for the brain buster, but Bray countered it into a neck breaker. Sami got a couple of near falls with a fisherman's suplex. He then hit a half nelson suplex and won.

Match 3. Extreme Rules - Kevin Steen vs. Sheamus
Sheamus and Steen traded punches on the outside. Sheamus then hit the Irish Curse back breaker. Steen caught Sheamus with a t-bone suplex. He went to the apron and leaped from the top rope, but Sheamus connected with the Brogue Kick. Steen hit a cutter. Sheamus retaliated with a superplex. Steen kicked out and hit F-Cinq to win.

After the match, Sheamus went to attack Steen, but Kevin ducked and through him out.

Match 4. Mark Henry vs. Rob Van Dam   ECW Championship
RVD connected with a step-over enziguiri, wheel kick and a hurricanrana. Henry grabbed RVD and hit a belly-to-belly slam and got a near fall. After a knee smash, Henry lifted Van Dam over his head and slammed him down and got the win.

Match 5. Antonio Cesaro vs. Kassius Ohno   TNA Championship
Cesaro landed a clothesline and elbow drop. Ohno picked Cesaro up over his shoulder and landed a gut buster. Cesaro hit a German suplex. Ohno got right up and rolled Cesaro up, but got a two count. After kicking out of another pin, Cesaro tossed Ohno up and hit the Very European Uppercut to retain.

Match 6. Stone Cold vs. Sting vs. Ric Flair vs. AJ Styles
Styles came off the ropes and hit Sting with a heel kick. He then connected with the Pele kick. Austin hit Flair with a powerbomb. He later hit a leg sweep and almost won. Austin hit Flair with the Stunner and Styles snuck in for the pin, but Sting broke it up. Sting hit Austin with a suplex and the Scorpion Death Drop. He then hit Flair with a superplex to win.

Main Event. Extreme Rules - Kurt Angle vs. Alexander Rusev
Interesting choice for the main event. After hitting Rusev over the head with a garbage can, Angle landed a release German suplex. Back in the ring, Rusev hit a back breaker and swinging sidewalk slam. Angle came back with the Angle Slam and got a near fall. He then left the ring and hit Rusev with a release overhead belly-to-belly slam. He then hit a second Angle Slam to win.

Recap: That was it. Year 3 is over. A lot of great matches took place on this PPV. Looking back, I think the whole storyline with the nWo, Hogan's return and all the title matches was my favorite. I also liked the mid-year draft and the new matchups it creates. Year 4 will be even bigger.
