Flair busted Bret open with a piledriver. Rude hit Flair with a superplex. Rude and Bret hit Flair with a double face smash. Rude went for his neck breaker, but Bret broke it up. Bret and Rude landed a double gut buster. Rude countered a double suplex into a double DDT and pinned Flair to win.

Steamboat hit Jericho with a nice back suplex and then caught him with a hip toss. Jericho landed his three powerbombs, but got a near fall. Steamboat hit an Electric Chair Drop and almost won. He won after landing a double underhook face buster.
Match 5. Wade Barrett vs. Curt Hennig #1 Contender's Match
Hennig landed a hanging pildriver and an elbow to the back. Barrett hit a hip toss and the Winds of Change, but got a two count. Hennig took Barrett to the outside and the two traded blows. Back in the ring, Hennig blocked the Bull Hammer and hit the Perfect-plex to win.
After the match, Steamboat came down and stomped on Barrett. Hennig turned around and saved him.

After the match, Swagger ran down and attacked Langston with a lead pipe.

Ohno left the ring to go for a weapon, but Styles cut him off and landed a heel kick. Styles then landed two flying arm drags. Styles blocked a punch and busted Ohno open with the Styles Clash. He continued with a springboard clothesline. He then hit the Pele kick and won.
