August Week 3, Year 2

WCW Nitro
Match 1. Antonio Cesaro vs. Ricky Steamboat

Match 2. Billy Kidman vs. Hurricane Helms vs. William Regal

Match 3. Chris Jericho vs. Jinder Mahal

Match 4. DDP and Booker T vs. nWo
Savage ran down and attacked Booker. Much later, Booker went for the Book End on Steiner, but Hennig countered it. Hennig hit Booker with a hangman's suplex. DDP came from behind and connected with the Diamond Cutter. Steiner lifted Booker up and landed the Steiner Screwdriver to win.

Match 5. Edge vs. Ultimate Warrior vs. Bret Hart
Bret busted Warrior open with a piledriver. Edge and Warrior each got a near fall on Bret. Edge and Bret hit Warrior with a double face smash. Bret later landed a piledriver on Edge. He then rolled up Warrior, but he kicked out. Edge and Bret hit Warrior with a double DDT. Edge landed the Edge-O-Matic on Bret to win.

Main Event. Big Show vs. Randy Savage and Kevin Nash
It's about time Savage got him some help. I wonder if Edge was the one that set this up. After an arm lock, Big Show speared Savage. Savage went for a diving double ax handle, but Show moved out of the way. Show hit Nash with a falling face buster and a spear. He placed Nash on the top and hit a super fall away slam to win.

ECW
Match 1. Erick Rowan vs. Spike Dudley

Match 2. The Dudleyz vs. Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
Bray and Luke wore down both Dudleyz with powerful tag team moves. Bray hit D-Von with a running clothesline and a body splash. On the outside, Bray hit Bubba with Sister Abigail. Bubba came in and landed the Bubba Bomb on Harper to win.

Match 3. Sabu vs. Rhyno

Match 4. Extreme Rules - Sheamus vs. Mick Foley
Sheamus landed a huge overhead belly-to-belly and a powerbomb on the outside. Back in the ring, Foley went for a piledriver, but Sheamus flipped him over. They each got near falls before Sheamus hit the Irish Curse back breaker to win.

Match 5. Tommy Dreamer vs. Tazz vs. Tajiri   #1 Contender's Match
Tazz got things started early by attacking Dreamer from behind. Tazz and Tajiri were working together, but Tazz turned and landed a DDT. A little later, Tazz and Dreamer were beating down on Tajiri. Tazz then caught Dreamer with a DDT. Tajiri snuck in and scored the pinfall.

Main Event. London and Kendrick vs. Impact Players


TNA Impact
Match 1. Austin Aries vs. Chris Sabin

Match 2. New Age Outlaws vs. Bad Influence
Gunn countered Daniels' suplex attempt. He then hit the One and Only slam, but got a two count. Both teams effectively used tag moves for more damage. Daniels caught Road Dogg with Last Rites, but he kicked out. Dogg hit some Shake, Rattle & Roll to win.

Match 3. Jeff Hardy vs. Petey Williams

Match 4. Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Roode
Joe was in the ring when Roode attacked him from behind. Roode followed the attack with Pay Off, but didn't go for the pin. They went to the outside where Roode countered a back breaker into one of his own. Joe went for the steps, but Roode took them away. He then hit a spine buster onto the stairs and won.

Match 5. AJ Styles vs. Kassius Ohno
Ohno attacked Styles from behind on the ramp. Ohno was on the offensive for most of the match. Styles landed a hurricanrana and heel kick. Ohno landed a swinging STO and a torture rack back breaker. He then finished him off with the Death Blow.

Main Event. James Storm vs. Mr. Anderson


WWE SmackDown
Match 1. Kofi Kingston and Cody Rhodes vs. MVP and Chris Masters

Match 2. X-Pac and Sin Cara vs. The Miz and Curtis Axel

Match 3. Kane vs. Ziggler vs. JBL vs. Sandow
Big win for JBL. Sandow took Kane down with a clothesline and then hit the Elbow of Disdain. Kane DDT'd Ziggler and then hit JBL with the Tombstone. JBL landed a back suplex on Kane, but Ziggler broke up the following pin. JBL hit Kane with a powerbomb and won.

Match 4. The Shield vs. The Usos
The Usos kept Reigns on their side of the ring. They connected with a double shoulder tackle. Reigns hit Jimmy with a Samoan drop. He went for the flying lariat, but Jimmy caught him and landed his own Samoan drop. Rollins and Jey tagged in their partners. Reigns immediately hit the spear and won.

Match 5. Batista and Triple H vs. John Cena and Daniel Bryan

Main Event. Submission - Ryback vs. The Rock
Rock hit a Samoan drop, but Ryback got right up. He connected with two body splashes and the meat hook clothesline. Rock went for the Rock Bottom, but Ryback broke free. Rock stole Ryback's finisher and landed Shell Shock. Ryback hit another clothesline and Shell Shock before making Rock tap from a camel clutch.

Recap: Big Show cannot be stopped. TNA was full of sneak attacks. SmackDown had enough tag matches this week to last another month.
