CLASH OF CHAMPIONS, Year 2

WCW and ECW present Clash of Champions.

Match 1. Rick Rude vs. Antonio Cesaro   WCW United States Championship
Cesaro landed a nice judo throw and double stomp to the gut. The two then countered move after move, without any trouble. Cesaro connected with the European uppercut, but Rude kicked out. Rude then hit the spike piledriver to retain.

Match 2. Big E Langston vs. Tazz   ECW Television Championship
Langston took Tazz down with a drop toe hold and then landed a back body drop. He missed an elbow and Tazz caught him with a release German suplex. Langston came back with a DDT and plowed Tazz over with a running splash to retain the title.

Match 3. Prime Time Players vs. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall
Hall hit Darren with a scoop slam and then hit Titus with the fall away slam. He went for the chokeslam, but Titus countered it. Hall got a couple of near falls on Darren. Nash went to spear Young through the barricade, but Titus broke it up. Darren hit the falling gut buster and won.

Match 4. The Dudleyz vs. Impact Players   ECW Tag Team Championship
D-Von DDT'd Justin onto a chair. He went for a piledriver, but Justin countered it into a face buster. Bubba swung a chair at Storm and caught him in the back. Justin connected with a super kick, but got a near fall. Bubba hit Storm with a belly-to-belly suplex. Bubba landed a sit-out powerbomb on Justin and won.

Match 5. nWo vs. The Wyatt Family
This in an inter-brand 6-man tag match. Harper and Rowan hit Hennig with a double suplex. Rowan went for a chokeslam, but Steiner broke it up. He was able to connect with it a few moments later. Savage countered Harper's powerbomb attempt. Steiner and Hennig hit Bray with a clothesline/spear combo and won.

Match 6. Edge vs. Big Show   WCW Championship
Weeks of destroying everything in his way, Big Show gets a shot at Edge and the WCW title. Show tossed Edge into the corner and landed a huge splash. Scott Hall ran down with a chair and began wailing on Show. He and Edge were beating him to a pulp. Show kept fighting back. He broke free of a chokeslam, but Edge hit the Edge-O-Matic and the spear. Show kicked out, but Hall brought in another chair. Edge connected with a second spear, but Show kicked out again. Edge finished him out with an Electric Chair Drop.

Main Event. Raven w/ CM Punk vs. Stone Cold   ECW Championship
Austin and Raven were brawling all over the ring. Punk tossed in a chair to help his stablemate. Raven slammed Austin onto it. Raven hit the Even Flow DDT, but Austin kicked out. Raven went for a second DDT, but Austin reversed it. The ref was bumped and Punk came in with a chair. He went to his Austin, but he ducked and Punk hit Raven. Austin tossed Punk out of the ring and hit Raven with a Stunner to win back the title.

Recap: What a PPV. Edge recruited another veteran. Punk costs Raven the ECW title. The nWo is still going strong.
