August Week 1, Year 1

Raw
Match 1. Stone Cold vs. Drew McIntyre

Match 2. Sin Cara and R-Truth vs. Antonio Cesaro and Sid Vicious

Match 3. Extreme Rules - Jeff Hardy vs. Seth Rollins
Jeff left the ring and met Rollins on the ramp. He immediately pulled out a chair. Rollins took the chair away and busted Jeff open. Jeff came back with the Death Valley Driver. Back in the ring, Rollins countered the Twist of Fate. Jeff got a couple of near falls, but Rollins won after hitting Paroxysm.

Match 4. Extreme Rules - Cody Rhodes vs. Dean Ambrose
Cody left the ring and took down Ambrose on the ramp. Cody pulled out a kendo stick and busted Ambrose open. Ambrose hit the double chicken swing face buster and headlock driver. Cody kicked out and countered a powerbomb. Ambrose rolled Cody up to win.

Main Event. Mark Henry vs. Randy Savage   WWE Championship
Wow. I was not expecting this. Will Henry's reign only last a day? Savage caught Henry with a piledriver and multiple right hands. Henry landed a DDT and body splash. He hit another DDT and a huge powerbomb. Savage was still able to kick out. Savage slammed Henry and connected with the elbow drop to win the title.

Superstars
Match 1. Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho

Match 2. Ricky Steamboat vs. Curtis Axel

Match 3. Razor Ramon vs. Wade Barrett Ricky Steamboat
Barrett came out and introduced Steamboat as Razor's opponent. Despite losing to Axel, The Dragon seems ready to go. Razor wasn't fazed by the switch. He landed move after move, including a suplex, DDT and chokeslam. He then lifted Steamboat up for the Razor's Edge and won.

Match 4. Undertaker vs. Mick Foley
Taker hit Foley with a flying lariat and fall away slam on the outside. He brought Foley back in the ring and hit another fall away slam. Taker then hit the Last Ride and won.

After the match, Goldberg came down and signaled he wants a title shot.

Main Event. New Age Outlaws vs. The Millionaires
After losing the last couple of matches, JBL and DiBiase pull out the victory. They isolated Road Dogg from Gunn. JBL hit him with a swinging neck breaker. DiBiase landed a sit-out spine buster on Billy Gunn. He hit a second spine buster a few minutes later to win.

SmackDown
Match 1. Jimmy Snuka vs. Jinder Mahal

Match 2. Legion of Doom vs. Edge and Randy Orton
Sheamus ran down and hit Edge with the Celtic Cross. Edge recovered and got a near fall on Animal. He then hit a northern lights suplex. Sheamus stood around ringside while Animal landed a shoulder tackle to pick up the win.

Match 3. Luke Harper vs. Heath Slater

Match 4. Ultimate Warrior vs. Ryback
Ryback took down Warrior and slammed his head against the mat. Warrior landed his running body splash and got a near fall. Warrior then landed multiple right hands before lifted Ryback over his head and slamming him down for the win.

After the match, Warrior went to shake Ryback's hand, but he slapped it away.

Main Event. Last Man Standing - Mr. Perfect vs. Goldust   European Championship
This is interesting, considering SmackDown's PPV is coming up. Perfect caught Goldust with a falling neck breaker. A little later, Perfect connected with a dropkick and another neck breaker. Goldust got up at the count of five and hit the Curtain Call. Perfect got to his feet, hit the Perfect-plex and won.

Recap: I was not expecting Henry to lose the title already. Would Edge and Orton have won if Sheamus didn't interfere? Not the best Last Man Standing match. Goldberg/Taker is a nice, slow-building feud.
