OVER THE LIMIT, Year 1

Raw closes out May with their solo pay-per-view.

Match 1. The Shield vs. The Hardyz   World Tag Team Championship
Jeff caught Rollins with a flying shoulder tackle and a hip toss. Matt hit Reigns with a Side Effect and Twist of Fate. Jeff hit Rollins with a springboard splash and almost won. On the outside, Jeff hit Rollins with a flipping face buster. Reigns caught Matt with a flying clothesline and won.

Match 2. British Bulldog vs. Antonio Cesaro
A battle of two tough Europeans. Bulldog DDT'd Cesaro on the apron. Bulldog countered Cesaro's slam into a face buster. Cesaro came back with a body slam and a Neutralizer in the ring. Bulldog landed some rights and lefts. Cesaro surprised Bulldog with a roll up. Bulldog countered it and got the win.

Match 3. Dean Ambrose vs. Eddie Guerrero   United States Championship
There was a little pin battle with some near falls. Eddie caught Ambrose with a springboard hurricanrana and got another near fall. Ambrose landed a chickenwing face buster to retain the US title.

Match 4. 2 out of 3 Falls Submission - Kurt Angle vs. Dolph Ziggler
Angle is a little stronger than Ziggler, but Dolph has the speed. Angle hit the triple German suplexes. Ziggler countered the Angle Slam. Angle put Ziggler through the announce table with the Angle Slam. WOW! After trading multiple finishers, Ziggler got the first fall with a camel clutch. Angle quickly tied it up with a reverse chin lock. Ziggler got up and locked in his sleeper hold to win.

Match 5. Stone Cold vs. Kane
Austin stomped a mudhole in Kane and then hit him with a tilt-a-whirl slam. Kane locked in a claw and connected a chokeslam. Austin put Kane through the announce table with a piledriver. After a couple of near falls, Austin won after a sleeper hold.

Match 6. Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow
Sandow caught Cody with a sit-out spine buster. Cody drove his knee into Sandow's face. Sandow hit some rights and lefts. Cody blocked a punch and landed Cross Rhodes to win.

Main Event. Steel Cage - Brock Lesnar vs. Macho Man   WWE Championship
Can Savage do what Hogan couldn't? This match went over 30 minutes! There were many F5s and diving elbow drops. Lesnar climbed up after an F5 and almost made it over, but Savage stopped him at the last possible second. Savage came back with a piledriver and diving elbow. He them climbed the cage and won the title.

Recap: The Shield are a dominant force on Raw. They make quick work of their challengers. Even without Hogan and Michaels on the card, it was a good PPV. The main event was fantastic.
