BACKLASH, Year 1

This is a joint pay-per-view with Raw and Superstars. It will be tough to have three separate PPVs each month for the three rosters, which is why there will be joint events throughout the Universe.

Match 1. Ambrose vs. Sandow vs. Guerrero   WWE United States Championship
Sandow speared Eddie through the barricade. Eddie busted Ambrose open with a front suplex. Ambrose hit Eddie with a double underhook face buster. Eddie took out Sandow with a heel kick. Ambrose landed the front headlock driver on Eddie to retain.

Match 2. Batista and Kurt Angle vs. Goldberg and Shawn Michaels
This is an inter-brand tag match. A few minutes into the match, the ref lost control and all four men were in the ring. Angle hit Michaels with the Angle Slam. Batista and Angle then worked over Goldberg. Michaels came in and hit Sweet Chin Music on Batista to win.

Match 3. Hart Foundation vs. The Millionaires AWA Tag Team Championship
JBL and DiBiase hit Neidhart with a double DDT. JBL later hit Bret with a swinging neck breaker. DiBiase locked Neidhart in the Million Dollar Dream. The Anvil fought back and landed a huge running powerslam on JBL to retain the titles.

Match 4. Razor Ramon vs. Chris Jericho   Intercontinental Championship
There was no indication that Jericho would be challenger. The match went less tan four minutes, so many that's why. Jericho countered a couple of Razor's moves. Razor landed a military press slam. He then hit the Razor's Edge a minute later to win.

Match 5. Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry
Henry snapped Bryan's throat over the top rope and then landed a tilt-a-whirl slam. Bryan made it back to his feet as he landed multiple kicks to Henry's chest and busted him open with a kick to the face. Bryan locked in the Yes Lock, but Henry broke free and hit the World's Strongest Slam for the win.

Match 6. Alberto Del Rio vs. Ric Flair vs. CM Punk   AWA Championship
Is this CM Punk's first match in my Universe? There were steps, chairs and a sledgehammer brought into the ring. Punk and Del Rio took turns beating down Flair. Punk locked Flair in the Anaconda Vice, but Del Rio broke it up. Del Rio and Punk landed a double back breaker. Punk left the ring and Del Rio got the win.

Main Event. Hulk Hogan vs. Brock Lesnar   WWE Championship
Lesnar landed an overhead belly-to-belly and an F5, but Hogan kicked out. Hulk made a comeback with a clothesline and back breaker. He went for a pin, but got a two. Lesnar caught Hogan with the triple powerbombs and won the title.

Recap: Of all the titles on the line here, I was not expecting Hogan to lose his. Good first PPV. SmackDown will have their first one next week.
