INVASION, Year 1

This is a Raw/SmackDown event. Because of the title, there will be three interbrand matches.

Match 1. Damien Sandow vs. Antonio Cesaro vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Rob Van Dam
Cesaro hit RVD with a diving shoulder tackle. Kofi caught Van Dam with a backhand chop and the Boom Drop. Cesaro and Sandow fought on the outside as Kofi landed the SOS and won.

Match 2. Dean Ambrose vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Dolph Ziggler   United States Championship
Eddie busted Ambrose open with a knee to the face. Eddie tossed Ambrose into the corner and landed a monkey flip. Ziggler dropkicked Eddie and hit Dean with the Zig Zag. Eddie hit Dean with the Brain Buster. Eddie and Dolph worked together to beat down the champ. They landed a double neck breaker and Ziggler got the cover first to win.

Match 3. Brock Lesnar vs. Ultimate Warrior
Two monstrous Superstars butt heads.  Warrior hit a shoulder block and military press. Lesnar came back with a back breaker and a near fall. Warrior landed hit body splash and kneeling pin, but Lesnar kicked out. Lesnar then hit the F5 and won.

Match 4. Stone Cold vs. The Rock
Rock landed the float-over DDT. He went for the Rock Bottom, but Austin countered and hit the Stunner, just like old times. Rock countered a powerbomb into a face buster and hit Austin with a Stunner. Rock escaped from the tree of woe and hit a spine buster before getting the win.

Match 5. Mr. Perfect vs. Christian   European Championship
Hennig landed a nice hip toss and got a near fall. Christian stomped on Mr. Perfect in the corner and then hit the Killswitch. Perfect elbow dropped Christian in the back and caught him with a school boy to win.

Match 6. Randy Savage vs. Shawn Michaels   WWE Championship
Michaels missed the flying forearm and Savage hit the scoop slam. He then connected with the elbow drop, but Michaels kicked out at the last possible moment. Michaels kicked out of another pin and went for the forearm. Savage ducked and rolled Michaels up to retain the title.

Main Event. John Cena vs. Diesel   World Championship
Cena stomped Diesel and hit him with a hip toss. Diesel palmed Cena's head to pick him up and then connected with a big boot. He then hit the Jackknife powerbomb. Cena got up and DDT'd Diesel on the apron. Diesel came back with a falling elbow drop and another boot to win the world title.

Recap: Macho Man got very lucky in that match. I was not expecting Diesel to win the title. SmackDown just became a little more interesting.
